Puerto Aventuras es un desarrollo residencial ubicado en el corazón de la Riviera Maya en el Caribe Mexicano y a 84 kilómetros aproximadamente de Cancún, y a 18 kilómetros al sur de Playa del Carmen. Fue fundado en 1998 por el arquitecto Román Rivera Torres y es uno de los principales centros turísticos de esta zona, famoso por sus playas y hoteles. En este residencial puedes encontrar villas, condominios, un campo de golf, marina, jardines, tiendas, un centro cultural e incluso un museo.

La marina de Puerto Aventuras es la más importante de la costera de Quintana Roo, además de que puede recibir veleros y yates de gran calado. Las playas de este desarrollo se distinguen por tener la arena blanca más fina de la Riviera Maya, además de que no lucen saturadas de visitantes, aún en temporada alta. Cuenta con tres bahías protegidas: la bahía Fatima, que alberga la playa principal y comienza en Chac Hal Al y termina en Gran Península, siendo ideal para los niños por sus aguas bajas. La bahía Chan Yu Yum se ubica al norte del residencial y forma parte de uno de los hoteles y la bahía Chac Hal Al se ubica en la entrada y al sur de este desarrollo.

El campo de Golf de Puerto Aventuras consta de 9 hoyos y fue diseñado por Thomas Leman en 1991. En él pueden encontrarse también diversas especies de animales. El campo abre diariamente y también se puede practicar tenis, cuyas canchas están abiertas diariamente a partir de las 8:30 hrs.

En Puerto Aventuras puedes encontrar varias opciones de hoteles y varios desarrollos si estás en busca de una propiedad. Dentro de las actividades que puedes realizar en y cerca de este lugar están: pesca deportiva (la mejor temporada es de marzo a junio), excursiones a zonas arqueológicas como Tulum y Chichen Itzá y a la jungla como Cobá, buceo, snorkel, windsurfing o nado con delfines. Puerto Aventuras alberga al museo CEDAM, que exhibe objetos de dos barcos, así como piezas arqueológicas provenientes de Xel-Ha. Cerca de Puerto Aventuras se puede visitar también la isla de Cozumel e Isla Mujeres.

Puerto Aventuras is a residential development located in the heart of the Riviera Maya, in the Mexican Caribbean, approximately 84 kilometers (52 mi) from Cancun and 18 kilometers (11 mi) south of Playa del Carmen. It was founded in 1998 by architect Roman Rivera Torres and it is one of the main tourist centers of the area, famous for its beaches and hotels. Here you can find residential villas, condominiums, a golf course, a marina, gardens, shops, a cultural center and even a museum.

The marina of Puerto Aventuras is the most important of the coast of Quintana Roo, plus it can host sailboats and cruiser yachts. The beaches of this complex are distinguished for having the finest white sands of the Riviera Maya, plus they are not saturated with visitors, even in high season. It has three sheltered bays: Fatima Bay, home of the main beach, it begins at Chac Hal Al and ends at Grand Peninsula, ideal for children because of its low water level; Chan Yu Yum Bay is located north of the resort and is part of one of the hotels; and Chac Hal Al Bay, that is located at the entrance and south of this community.

The golf course of Puerto Aventuras has 9 holes and was designed by Thomas Leman in 1991. There you can also find various species of animals. The course is open daily and you can also play tennis, whose courts are open daily from 8:30 hrs.

In Puerto Aventuras you can find several options of hotels and resorts if you are looking for a property. Among the activities that you can do here and around this place are sport fishing (the best season is from March to June), tours to archaeological sites as Tulum and Chichen Itza, and to the jungle, as Coba, plus diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, or swimming with dolphins. Puerto Aventuras houses the CEDAM museum, which displays items of two boats, as well as archaeological pieces from Xel-Ha. Near Puerto Aventuras can also visit the island of Cozumel and Isla Mujeres.
